Whether you are a wine novice or a dedicated oenophile, if you're interested in learning more about wine, Vino 100 has classes for you.  We offer a range of class types, from basic introduction classes to more advanced sensory ananlysis and regional wine tasting classes. 

Some of our classes are taught by our Vino 100 staff.  We're pleased to also offer classes taught by Chef and Sommelier Brian Hay.  Brian's classes are by far our most popular - there's never a dull moment, and lively participation is guaranteed!  We may also occassionally have a guest instructor. 

 Have a group that wants to learn more while having a bit of fun?  We offer private and custom classes as well.

We're proud to be the host location for Austin Community College's Wine Course, Viticulture and Enology.  This extensive 16-week course starts August 26, so enroll soon.  Taught by Chef and Sommelier Brian Hay.

Chef and Sommelier Brian Hay

Chef Brian Hay has been working in the food service industry since the late 1980's, earning a number of degrees, both bachelors and masters, in the culinary field.  Chef Hay also holds a Sommelier Diploma from the International Sommelier Guild.

Chef Hay teaches at Austin Community College and has been the Program Coordinator for the ACC Culinary Arts program for over a decade.

Brian is also currently co-starring in ACC's production of Austin Cooks.  Check out this great series, including the Winery Episode!
